So you automated the shutdown and reopen so you dont have to touch it, You would think the Developer could write the code where it didnt need a frequent close/open for it to work

Guess you could run off and develop your own app to use instead of appreciating the free application Andy puts out for us all to use? It's likely signigicantly easier to restart the application with a script than fixing whatever coding issue causes the problem.

I would think as a app developer he would want his code to work instead of needing to be restarted daily, But whatever, If he wants to fix it and charge ill gladly pay for it not a big deal

Hey @aaknitt , are we still going to be able to use the twotonedetect.net links in our text messages or are those going away since IamResponding bought TwoToneDetect?

Accordingly, it doesn't look like any of us can use Verizon EMAG if we upgrade to v73f

All users of the twotonedetect.net hosting services should have received an email earlier today explaining this. If you didn't get it, let me know.

v73f (and future versions) can still be used for noncommercial use independently of IaR. Release notes for v73f are as follows:
  • Added support for audio push notifications via Iamresponding.com
  • Added support for remote configuration of tone information via Iamresponding.com
  • Added task bar icon to indicate that TTD is running without main GUI active. Click on taskbar icon to open main GUI. Recommend only opening main GUI when needed - close it during normal unattended operation.
  • Removed embedded support for twotonedetect.net audio hosting (replaced with Iamresponding.com support)
  • Removed embedded support for Pushbullet and Pushover notification services (replaced with Iamresponding.com support)
  • Misc. bug fixes to address memory leaks and remote tone config issues

Three of us did not.

I'll e-mail you concerning the EMAG issue.

Looks like you can buy the IamResponding.com service and ask them for assistance to fix the problem since IaR now owns the application.

I'd recommend trying v73f and see if it helps with your issue. There were a couple bugs fixed that could cause some memory leak issues in certain situations, and the addition of the taskbar icon should help reduce the need to have the GUI running all the time (which should not be done - only open the GUI when you need it).

Not to spear in on this conversation -- but where do we get the new v73f? I always went through the domain to get it, and now its direct to IaR.

Thanks!

Hi Andy.

Is August 1st still the planned date to stop the Audio Hosting?

Up until June 1st all my members were receiving their "Text Only" message with a URL Link where they could listen to the Audio.

Now none of them are getting it as of June 1st. This was until then; the only way Bell Customers in Canada could use TTD.

Any thoughts?
