New Uniden Repair Changes.

Starting the 1st of this year Uniden made changes to their repair form. Below is the change and a link to the repair form.

Looks like you will be able to submit the repair payment just as easy as paying for the feature Keys (DMR NXDN etc)...

Interesting to note the SDS200 is repairable for the $95 charge out of warranty but the SDS200E is not! I wonder why not? Maybe Europe has another repair outlet available for out of warranty work?

I would bet dollars to donuts that Uniden America will only repair models it distributes. Don't know if their distribution territory includes Mexico but it does include the US and Canada.

Since Uniden America sells the SDS series here why would they offer to repair the E units? I would contact avera.eu about out of warranty repair on those.
