New user needs help programing 296d

This is a Programming shortcut for the BC250D but I think the 296 programs the same.

Though crashcrew is correct, get to know the users manual.

What are you trying to program into your 296?

Iam trying to program the lincoln system as well as cass county and iowa freqs. they are all on different systems. AS well as the AF Base.

A couple of things to keep in mind when trying to program all of these systems:

-You can only program 1 system per bank
-EDACS systems (Lincoln's system) require you to program using logical channel numbering starting with the first channel in a bank.
-For Motorola UHF systems (Offutt’s system) you will need to program the frequency spacing and offset.

The first couple of times, these types of trunked systems can be tricky. These systems are much easier to program if you are using the Uniden software.
