Version 1.70 2010.08.27 08:10 (GMT -0700)

Fixed import of P25 conventional channels where a NAC was listed (was setting to DC mode

Just a quick question for those of us who are un informed or still figuring out all the goodies. What exactly does the above quote mean with regards to WIN96?

Thanks
Bobby

It means was showing an analog ( DC ) code instead of the Digiatal (NAC) code

i was just curious how hard it would be to add the ability to center the alpha tags on the general settings tab,for the win500 program, i know its nit picking, but i like them centered when the display flashs between them and the object id, thanks for the great software

The scan list alpha tags on Win500's "General Settings" tab most certainly go to the scanner. They're displayed when CONV objects are active. You can see/edit them in the scanner's GLOB menu.

Dag nab it Don, seems you corrected me on that a long time ago. Getting older each day.

Apologies to KB3LZZ.

i know how to do the object id's alpha tag, i want the "bank" alpha tag to center, just asking if this is possible? and to va3pkh, go to the all objects tab and left click a id, then select all, then left click and select justify alpha tabs, you can chose the center and it will align all the names, conventional and trunk tags , very nice feature

on the general settings tab, i would like be able to right click, select all and have the tags centered by the program, it is possible on the all objects, conv. objects, and trunk objects pages, but not on the general page. on win97 you can do all the tags from a menu item, dont know if maybe this is what your thinking?

I was looking also to center the scan list tags in the general settings via a menu function (win500) but isn't there.

So I just do it the old-fashioned way: (and forgive me if this is stating the obvious)
Count the # of letters/spaces in your tag, subtract that from 16, then divide by 2 = the number of times to hit spacebar before entering your tag.

If it's not a whole number like 3.5 then I just put 3 spaces before tag.

Typically, you're not constantly changing tags for scan lists (maybe in the beginning you are) but I understand why there isn't an option to justify tags for that part of the program.

**What I would like is for the program to prevent you from entering more than 16 characters in a tag so you don't have to manually count each time. Freescan kinda spoiled me with that feature...

I think the only time scanlist tag (General Settings) is used in scanner is when user toggles scanlist numbers, then on display for only an instant.

I like the way it is to copy/paste for printing. A feature in Files menu for printing scanlist would be nice including the list numbers. Perhaps font 14? :)
