WS1040: Newbie Learning

I’m new to my scanner, Whisler WS1040, and programming with WIN500. I have programmed the trunk frequencies to use, uploaded to the scanner via its USB plug into the scanner itself. After I turn off, and turn back on the scanner the portable scanner display shows, “Nothing enabled’. Being new to this portable scanner, and software am stacked. Confused look and asking next correct event?

Read some of these ideas:
WS1040 -Nothing Enabled message

When your scanner is scanning does the Number 1 show on the screen or do you just see a black dot? If the Number 1 does not appear then ScanList 1 is not enabled.

Under General tab make sure you have selected one of the scan lists you have saved the frequencies/talkgroups in.
