Hello everyone, as maybe you can see this is my first post in this forum. I'm an old school ham operator but very new in trunked systems.
First I want to apologize if this was answered before but I've searching for an answer for my question and cant' find anything.
The problem is as follows: I got an HP1 with Extreme Update a couple of years ago wich I've used to hear the Policia Federal Argentina, wich is a sort of metro police here. Untill 2010 they was using EDACS but moved to P25 in 2011, then I started try to figure out how to heard them. I've connected Unitrunker and found (I guess) 3 sites wich they own frequencies. I can't remember how, exported that (I believe that using Butel software) to my HP1 and started to hear it. Since I've got a child in March 2012, Ive quit scanning. Now I'm returning and I can't hear almost anything on that system. Any idea?
Some tips: I didn't change anything, also rescanned the system with Unitrunker and everything seems like before. Sometimes when I tune a direct frequency I can hear voices cleary, but in scan mode (the normal operation mode) it stop scanning when found a signal but stop for about 200ms and then resumes the scan. Looks like "it doesnt understand" what is hearing.
I can provide logs, the unitrunker export, the system export in the Uniden Sentinel or a video of the HP1 doing what I say to be more cleary (I know my english isn't good, sorry for that).
