Just a reminder for those in the Military, Aircraft and HF Forums that the NORAD - НОРАД Vigilant Eagle II Exercise - 7~10 Aug has begun in the Russian Far East. Please kindly post your Russian and USA-Canada (NATO-USAF-CANFORCE) HF Logs to the Military forum please. See Military Forum (same subject) for details.

Thanks and let's bag a few Military HF (Including the Russian A-50 AWACS) and the like if possible...The Solar MCE might be interesting too!

Only a select few can hear this. Depends on their location. Us poor souls in the TN valley are just SOL during ALL military exercises like this. If we ever got blown up it would just be a write-off so the consensus is dont train here. Have fun.

I suspect in some ways you are right,especially if you do not have HF and-or Mil-Air / SATCOM receive capabilities. Several of the NORAD 'common' and typical USAF HF are on today and suspect better listening in the AK / PAC Regions for the Tanker Commons, etc...
