Some sort of search operation going on in Lansdowne on Bent Tree Terrace. Fairfax-1 is searching from the air. The SERT is responding, but not code. CID units are on scene too.

The search is occurring in my apartment complex (Camden Lansdowne). It's kind of disconcerting to find a bunch of guys in tactical gear with auto or semi automatic rifles. Some guys had Sheriff patches and I noticed another with a DHS patch. I called the sheriff's office and all they would say is that they're assisting another agency.

I found out what was happening today in Loudoun:
Loudoun County, Virginia- Loudoun County deputies are searching for Kalonji Kibwe Cummings who is wanted on federal drug charges. Today deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant on the subject at an apartment located in the 1900 Block of Bent Tree Terrace, Lansdowne VA. When deputies arrived the subject jumped from a second story balcony and escaped on foot. K-9 dogs and a helicopter were called in to assist on the search but were unsuccessful in locating Cummings.
Cummings is considered to be armed and dangerous. He is described as a Black Male, 29 years old, 6’2”, black braided hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a white t-shirt.
For Media Only - A photograph of Cummings can be obtained by emailing a request to rgibson@loudoun.gov.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Frank Pearson of the Loudoun County Sheriff office at 703-777-1021.

Search on going in Shenandoah Natl. Park since about 0800 this morning. Ops on 171.7 and 173.675. Several SAR groups on scene probably using their chs simplex. Helicopter being ordered and a family member enroute with some scent items. Staging was in Kaiser Run.
1640: Eagle 2 over the search area.
1715: Eagle 2 leaving the incident. Ground SAR team is using 155.205 with a tone of 88.5. Someone from Manassas enroute to the search area.

0940: Eagle 2 at the incident since around 0815. Air/Ground comms on NASAR F10. ICP is on 155.160 CS.
Also the shots fired activity on Winchester PD 3 at the school is training. They've been doing the scenario about every weekend since the real school incident several weeks ago.

Loudoun and I think I heard Fairfax too have been doing active shooter incident training recently also.

Any word yet on the man missing in Shenandoah National Park? I know they said they foubd his car was up there, any suspect of Suicide Thoughts before he went missing, or anything like that?

I didn't have time to listen yesterday. It was quite active over the weekend. Saturday night I saw some Mason Dixon Rescue Dog folks at Applebees in Front Royal. I presume they had just come down after their operational period ended.ShenValleyFire13 said:

Just woke up to an in progress incident in Warren County. Air Care 3 and 4 landing at a LZ next to the fire structure. Ordering refreshments for the firefighters from Lowes at I-66 & 522. Tfc on 155.6175 and 155.7375.
0550 - The fire is in the area of Walker and Hwy 55 in Front Royal.
0552 - Patients will go to the Med Star burn center.

The news media is reporting this morning that another body has been found in the fire building. I'm not sure if that is the second child's body that they were looking for last week or if this makes 4 fatalities.

Middleburg - Suspected Homicide
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently on the scene of a suspected homicide in the Middleburg area.
Units were called to the 35280 block of Snake Hill Road just before midnight Wednesday for a report of a person injured in the woods. The victim, a young adult male, was located by Loudoun Sheriff’s Deputies in a wooded area off of the roadway.
Anyone who has information about this case is asked to contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. If the caller wishes to remain anonymous, they are asked to call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information leads to an arrest and indictment the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.

Loudoun County, Virginia- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Middleburg man in connection with the homicide of 21-year-old Jujuan D. Johnson.
Terence E. Dade, 23, has been charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center in Leesburg.
The victim and the suspect were acquaintances and both lived in the area of Snake Hill Road in the Village of St. Louis at one time.
The body of the victim was located around 12:30 AM Thursday on a trail off of Snake Hill Road. Authorities were led to the body by an anonymous caller who contacted Loudoun Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center. The third-party caller told authorities there was a person injured in the area of St. Louis Road. The call was received just before midnight on Wednesday.

Suspects were selling stolen tools in the parking lot. Suspects are a Hispanic female (Driver), Hispanic Male 5'7 chipped teeth (Shooter).

VSP pursuing a motorcycle on Rt522. 159.165
2157- Now eastbound on Rt 211.
2159- Pursuit terminated. But the trooper is still following him southbound on Rt729. Advised he call follow but not run code.
