Is it just me or is their not much lowband DX going on this summer? The 2017 list on this forum has not been updated in weeks by any members.. My lowband banks on my radio have very little activity compared to last summer where it was pretty much all day/night. could it be the weather?

The number of Dx Spots is down considerably. This
type of activity is generally influenced by the activity
on the sun. The sun spot activity normally runs on a
11 year cycle and we're on or near the bottom of the
cycle. E-Skip can appear anytime but is reduced
considerably when near the bottom. It will be some
years before improving.
There are many web sites providing sun condition
information. QRZ.COM has a simple chart on current
propagation conditions.

2018 so far

2018 seems to be dead so far, by this time every year I've usually logged at least a few low band DX stations, I haven't heard a peep. Hoping the 2018 list can get started soon, great reference. I check KKN50's list almost daily to check my logs.
