…Who said FM CB was relatively new… those school bus drivers act just like the AM CBers! …Not sure I like them multi-tasking while carrying precious cargo. And, if I’m not mistaken it’s a violation of the distracted driving incentives… they don’t qualify for any of the exemptions!

Oh man, if they do that in Sweden, I am on the next plane !!!

Guess Uniden can't make everyone happy.

Just remember you get billed for all those too. ;)

Maybe all the options can be included and the price increased a few hundred dollars for everyone so you don't have to go through the trouble of enabling upgrades??? (JUST KIDDING)

No, it is a fact that it is impossible to make everyone happy. You can include a gold bar with every sale and someone will complain that the box is too heavy.

Look at the people complaining that the waterfall was released. They are offended that it is present in the menu, or so it seems.

If you don't like the feature, you are not being forced to purchase it. But just remember some LOVE it and it is a very useful tool.

The same case is still being made for digital modes by those who don't need them. They wonder why they are included (well, P25 at least).
Even with the new BCD160/260DN some are complaining about it having DMR and NXDN conventional included. Others are complaining that it does not have trunking or Close Call. Well, you can purchase either a BC125AT or BCD325P2 if you want more features or fewer.

Bottom line: Not every feature is targeted to every user. That's why they are paid upgrades. It keeps the base cost lower.

It looks like the STARCOMM system has a simulcast site that covers St. Clair County, and St. Clair County uses that system as its primary radio system. If it were me, I'd create a Favorites list with STARCOMM as the only system. Then I would disable all STARCOMM sites except Site 03-059 St. Clair Simulcast. Then set the radio for ID Search, and make sure that the Service Types you want to hear are enabled. Let this run for awhile and decide what talk groups you want to monitor and enable only those and change to ID Scan.. Once you get that working, add other systems and channel resources as needed.
