BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Nothing to Scan still a Problem

I've been through Trunker's X36 "Nothing to Scan" Checklist twice, and I'm still getting this message with one of two favorites lists.

I've tried to fix the Quik Key several times along with all the other settings mentioned in the Checklist, both in the scanner and in BCDx36HP_Sentinel.

When is asks me to set the Quik Key for the Favorites List, I scroll down the the number 2, I press Enter key, and back out using the menu button.

I also check Quik Key Status.

If needed I could my profile and HPD files.

It is almost guaranteed to be one of the points in Nothing to Scan wiki. I’ll guess one of these: quick keys; monitor/download not set; location control on for FL but location not set properly; no sites selected in system.

I had to rename the extension from "hpe" to "txt" to get it to upload to RR. I hope you can rename it back to "hpe"

Sentinel doesn't display sites as it did before?

As mentioned previously you didn't program any sites to be able to hear traffic. Go ahead and give this file a try. I may have imported the wrong site though, wasn't sure if you needed St Louis City/MSHP or Weldon Spring

Put in your local weather channel and see if it will scan and stop there.

If this is a trunked system, which I believe it is, you cannot add the conventional weather channels. Conventional and trunked "stuff" cannot be intermingled.

That said, weather channels are excellent diagnostic tools for trying to figure out problems with conventional systems.

Yes, you must add sites, preferably those closest to where you are, in order to monitor the system.

Trunked system scanning requires both entries for sites and talkgroups (or ID Search On).

That doesn't look like the file I sent (unless you renamed some things), did you click File > Import from .hpe file in Sentinel then point it to where you extracted mine?

Can you take a look at this file? I believe I have the sites turned on. I tried to turn on location on the BCD536HP, but it doesn't seem to hold the zip code (63119) that I entered.

You have sites, looks like all of the state. Now avoid all that are not in your area (2-3).

Do you have download and monitor on in Sentinel Profile and quick key enabled?

And you're certain you've gone through everything in the wiki below? Where is the closest site geographically to you that carries the traffic you're looking to hear?
