Lately, I have been hearing NSP Troopers with 700 series badges appearing only on the Troop B LE 1.

Seems the traffic is mainly court/summons related.

Anybody know what the 700 units may be about?

Investigations, maybe? Just a shot in the dark. Wish I could hear NSP again with a scanner, unfortunately, I am unable to acquire a scanner that will do N-WIN.

How 'bout you post the Radio ID's you found (if you can) and possibly one of our fine fellow hobbyists can translate it for us? I remember hearing a 724 badge number in Clay Co. several years ago (Five years or so) that was a NE Game and Park Officer. I wonder if the new 700 series we're hearing about is a group of rookie troopers?

I am pretty sure 700 series is came and parks. The rookie troopers get a regular badge number. As far as the 900 series Iam not sure and Iam still checking into that.

Since I don't have a digital scanner, I wouldn't know how NSP has their badge numbers arranged.

7XX are game wardens, very busy now with hunting. Out here thy are dispatched by the NSP dispatcher or by cell phones.

Hear the Game Wardens talking back and forth on their own talkgroup . Truck to truck most morning here in Lincoln. Have not heard any one dispatching them yet no base at all. Just talking to each other.
Their pickups stand out more now with the high band ant on them. Drivers side on the hood line.

I should have said when going 10-41 and running10-39's they use the NSP dispatch talk group, their own TG 60251 is used for non sensitive talk.

Have you submitted 60251 to be added to the database? So far here in Norfolk, I haven't logged that TG.

7xx are Conservation Officers from Game and Parks.

They have their own talkgroups but dispatch through NSP.
