Nuisance delete?

Is it feasible to have a nuisance delete option on Calls in the future that might let a user temporarily remove a talkgroup from a custom scan list? Right now, as far as I can tell, you have to go in to edit the list and remove the problem talkgroup and then go back in and add it back later. It would be cool to have a nuisance delete button you could click (maybe next to the mute button) to just drop a talkgroup from the rotation until the page is refreshed/reloaded. OF course, I don't know how complicated this would be from a programming standpoint...just a wishlist item.

with some uniden radios there is a temporary lockout thing.
but you have to turn the radio off and on.
another way is (again with uniden) hit hold, type in the talkgroup number and then unlock it.
so if talkgroup 1616 is talking too much and you lock them out you can then hit hold type in 1616 and unlock them.

I was asking specifically about on the Calls platform.

I believe OP was talking about the Calls Platform, not a scanner

There is a TG hold button, so yeah I agree that would be nice.

As an example, I have a playlist set up that contains all three of the NJ State Police marine unit talkgroups. They all carry the same traffic, but they are not always all being captured via Calls depending on what units are affiliated where on the system. I have all three talkgroups in the list to maximize my ability to hear the NJSP marine units. But, on some days, I hear them in triplicate because all three dispatch talkgroups (A 10-Comm, B 10-Comm, C 10-Comm) are all being captured instead of just one.

Essentially you would like a Temp Avoid/Resume button on each channel by the Details and Download icons.

That would be a good idea to temporarily avoid a channel.

Not to add to the complexity, but I'm adding to the complexity :)

What if the talk groups in your Calls playlist could automatically enable and disable based on the time of day? For example, at night when things start to quiet down, more talk groups could activate for overnight listening. Then, around 6 a.m., they could automatically disable themselves before activity picks up again.

Sounds like scheduable profiles.
