Can I ask a dumb question, maybe at the wrong place, but trying to finally utilize my Premium Sub. So question is: Is there an easy way to download the MARCS groups only used in Lucas County or Northern Wood County? I saw the one for NWOLucas county download, but not the other trunked system. Didn't want to dump 10,000 talkgroups when I only want 20 at best from the State of Ohio MARCS. Thanks.

Depends on the software you're using, but most will allow you to select for download only the talkgroup category you're interested in.

As of this afternoon, I'm no longer receiving the Henry County (Hamler) site. I'm guessing this may mean this site is permanently shut down as Henry County has moved to MARCS. Does anyone have any official news on this?

Not hearing Toledo or suburb Fire Department dispatch. Are they no longer dispatching by radio, or what?
Hope it's not all CAD and no P25. Change of talkgroups? Only Fire talkgroup I have anything on today (January 19) is 50048 being used as a fireground talkgroup for a structure fire.

Sounds like fire dispatch (50008) was having issues most of the day. That according to the Broadcastify archives. But the rest of them sound normal. Alarm 6 (50040) was working the fire on Parker Street on the East side around 7:30 tonight

Suggestions: BC396T works okay with the NWO P25 system; but...a BCD325P2 does not output any audio? It stops on the same talkgroups as the other radio, but no audio exists on the 325P2. Squelch at 2, and WX radio audio is fine, just no trunking audio. Is the firmware too old after the system was re-banded a while back? It is using rev v1.06.0 firmware.
Using the keypad to program as there are no good working links for the USB programming cable driver for Freescan.
Thank you.

Toledo sounds like their new radios are coming online. They made an announcement that all radio comms would be going down for five minutes at 9:00AM. At 9:08AM they started random radio checks. The radio checked radios sounded clearer. Anyone on this thread know if this is what was going on.

Yes a system update was implemented. Couple new talkgroups will be added as well

This was an upgrade to routers used at the sites for networking. Toledo did not get new radios and to my knowledge, no new talkgroups have been added.

and hoping these "new" radios will still use the same modes of open communication?

That money was used to replace the last of the XTS and XTL radios they had. They had replaced about half their radios with APX series radios a few years ago.

Lucas county / Toledo fire and rescue question: WTH is Medic 26 ?
25 Stations in Toledo Fire and Rescue..
Did they stick a transport medic at Station #1, #6, or at the former Ottawa Hills Fire Station which once housed Rescue 15? Where, what is Medic 26, and what's going on with Station 12 that was closed, re-built and then re-opened? On PulsePoint surprised if even one run a day for E12 ?

A lot of activity tonight on Ops 6-3, 6-6, and 6-9, with a lot of radio IDs in the 4894XXX range on 6-6 and 6-9. 6-3 appears to be security at a high school football stadium in Sylvania Township. 6-6 and 6-9 seem like law enforcement operations of whatever agency has the 4894XXX radios. Also 6-7 is active as a records channel - a 4894XXX calling in info, answered by a 4826XXX (Toledo PD) unit.

Just saw new TGID 60072 light up, with 4898XXX UIDs (TARTA). Sounds very much like TARTA security.

Sounds more like LMHA security. Listen to the call logs from a couple days ago. I’m a retired TARTA bus driver. Doesn’t sound like TARTA.
