I'm very impressed what I've heard so far. 2 blunders on my part. It took me 4 tries to put the NXDN key in..because I criss crossed my 536's and tried to put the wrong key in the wrong scanner.
2nd boo-boo was a programming error. My suggestion for the firmware is when it comes to NSXN programming, replace LCN with Channel Number. I had 15 frequencies in order, 1-15 but didn't hear anything until I ran the analyzer. The control channel has assigned each frequency a "channel number" and all is working great now. I'm hearing both sides of conversations, unlike on my TRX-2 (which will be up for sale...lol).
Another note...when I ran the Analyzer it did recognize and assign a channel number and RAN to 2 known 3.125 kHz spacing channels. These channels were verified by someone who sent me a screen shot via their SDR Dongle.
Thank you to UPMan who has been battling health issues to put this out for us to dabble, and to all the Beta testers who submitted improvements along the way. I look forward to utilizing Sentinel, Pro Scan and/or ARC to finish properly programming. Can't bit** though...I just upgraded 3 scanners for $90!!!
