OBNDD 154.83 Tulsa Site

Last night between midnight and 5 A.M. I heard the OBNDD on 154.83 in Tulsa constantly. The transmissions were CSQ and had no tone. The only bad thing to report is that the transmissions were encrypted so I couldn't understand what they were saying. Maybye there is big bust getting ready to go down somewhere here in Tulsa?

I must ask, if the transmissions were encrypted, how do you know it was the OBNDD you were listening to?

I hear alot of stuff on the Federal frequencies shortly after 2 AM this morning. For it being Memorial Day Weekend compared to other ones, somebody was working late. I don't think it was the janitorial crew either! :shock:

Your right, it could have OSBI or OBNDD. I have never in 12 years of having 154.83 programmed in a scanner heard anyone use it until last night. I knew that the repeater was on the air because I had heard what sounded like someone keying up their mic in the past. I just assumed it was OBNDD because of what this website has it listed as. Enter it in to one of your scanners and listen. Who knows they might turn the encryption off.

I have never known them to be encrypted. A couple of years ago I embarrased a couple of there agents real bad. They were talking about traffic and then they said something about my car. I pulled up and waived to them and pointed at my radio.....

I hear stuff *hint hint* every so often about once every couple of days and it come through on my OLD scanner quite well...usally about noon is when I hear activity *won`t menton what* but it comes through quite strong where I`m at. hope this helps

I`m just a bit outside catoosa,and some of the things I do hear that I can mention here are, callouts for deputys and calls for assistence form tpd and calls in reference to... some chatter on ocassions about indivi.

that is the same freq. for obn down here in mcalester and it is no tone.
down here you won't here much on it until summer time when
they do their missions. it is usually in the clear. most of the guys
around here just use their cell phones. hope this helps any.
