Does anybody know who TG 44931 is? It's a Madison County Law Enforcement channel, but who?
I recently logged 44931 while traveling through the Jackson area, but don't have an ID for it. Here is the info I have.

I logged 44931 on the following sites:

BEE00.2AD 2.13_2A3 : MSWIN - Jackson
BEE00.2AD 2.57_2A0 : MSWIN - Ridgeland

That is in line with what I see. They are running tags and calling for tow trucks among other things. The RID 100xxxx are dispatchers and the others are the patrol units. I just haven't figured out what agency yet.

Two from today at Camp Shelby (back all day tomorrow):

35976- School buses
35976 is likely in Perry County based on proximity to other TGIDs in the database. Camp Shelby is primarily located in portions of Perry and Forrest Counties

Perry County School District is headquartered in New Augusta, MS. It includes Beaumont, Runnelstown, and surrounding areas.

I think I've asked this before but cannot find it in a search of the forums.

Anyone have a bead on 24020?

It only has a very unique series of radio IDs that ever affiliate to it, and those same RIDs seem to randomly jump around to various law enforcement TGs, and, most recently, one of them appeared on a Pafford EMS talkgroup.

I've seen registrations of 24020 on
Current site: BEE00.2AD-2.47 Shuqualak

Code:
DSDPlus_2025/1R-DSDPlus.event:2026/02/12 10:25:38 Freq=773.806250 NAC=2A4 Registration; RID=8069086 TG=24020 ACCEPT
DSDPlus_2025/1R-DSDPlus.event:2026/02/13 06:55:32 Freq=773.806250 NAC=2A4 Registration; RID=8069086 TG=24020 ACCEPT
DSDPlus_2025/1R-DSDPlus.event:2026/02/16 14:06:24 Freq=773.806250 NAC=2A4 Registration; RID=8069086 TG=24020 ACCEPT
DSDPlus_2026/1R-DSDPlus.event:2026/04/02 14:11:51 Freq=773.806250 NAC=2A4 Registration; RID=8069086 TG=24020 ACCEPT

24020 lines up with a college or university.
Agreed - it is in the range of College and University talkgroups. I don't think it is MSU. I'd keep an eye on community colleges.

In the "area"... EMCC, ICC, ECCC, HCC, NeMCC, MDCC, NwMCC. MCC, HCC-G)... I believe East Mississippi Community College (EMCC) is the closest? Followed by Itawamba Community College (ICC). then East Central Community College (ECCC), Northeast Mississippi Community College (NeMCC), Holmes Community College Goodman (HCC-G), Meridian Community College (MCC), Northwest Mississippi Community College (NwMCC) and Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC). Narrow it down from what's already in the DB, and then monitor, monitor, monitor. It could also be an event/traveling TG for any of the the bigger ones such as MSU, UM, USM, DSU etc.... Though I think most of the ones for them are already nailed down? I've wondered if they will have a College Common one like back in VHF days, the Statewide Mississippi College Police Net was 155.5950 MHz.

That is all true for the North-central MS area where I am. But @Wilrobnson is seeing hits on the Gulf Coast (and more than what I am seeing). I would focus on the gulf coast area first and see where that leads to.

I may be wrong, but I think MSU has a campus in Meridian. East Central has a campus in Newton and Decator which isn't that far from Shuqualak. I stand corrected. I was thinking of another town.

MSU does indeed have a campus in Meridian.
If SUs on that TG have been seen on MPD and/or LCSO TGs, then that might point to MSU. However, Pafford EMS does not run in Lauderdale County (Meridian) unless something's changed since I worked there, so that is a bit confusing still. Metro Ambulance runs Lauderdale County, and Paratech runs Clarke County. I can't say for sure about Kemper, but web searches indicate that they're covered by Magnolia Ambulance.

I have seen it on the Coast sites (Hancock, Harrison and Jackson Counties) at various times. All the RIDs have been those out-of-sequence 806xxxx ones.

The RIDs have appeared on MHP, George SO, Stone SO, Hancock SO, MBN and DMR talkgroups.

This week, 8068403 has affiliated on Pafford Biloxi; I verified it is not one of theirs.

I have never caught voice traffic on it.

I have, in about 5 years, only ever caught 12 radio IDs in that range, the oldest being on 10/25/22 and the newest from yesterday. None of them remotely match known MEMA RIDs, and none of these RIDs have ever gone to a MEMA TG.

I have seen 8 RIDs in the 806xxxx range. They appear to be in several groups.
