Troop C at TG 13021 is talking in the clear and in encrypted but mostly in the clear at 19:30 hours 04-09-2020
I have been hearing the Hattiesburg Units of MHP being dispatched by "C" troop, Jackson HQ, mostly at nite and on weekends
That was done for 2 weeks due to a medical emergency at troop C. Covid???? I think Troop C is back 10-8 now. Actually Hattiesburg Troop J was dispatching both Troops C and J.
I heard THP linked to Tipton County and Fayette County just did not know what was going on.
That was a pursuit of murder suspect. Went all through Brookhaven etc... All MHP being encrypted now, it was traffic from other agencies involved, and what the PIO put out that got heard and told to others, and media etc... Was a slow rolling pursuit, at end had at least 20 or so LEO's cars involved, with suspect ramming cars etc... Friend of mine that works in Brook sent vid on FB as they rolled by where he works.
I heard most of the pursuit on Troop C channel as they have not went encrypted even rrdb says it have. They also went to MHP Statewide which is also in the clear.
as of right now troop c and Brookhaven are not always encrypted. a lot of the normal traffic is in the clear.
Troop C is in the clear as well as other MHP talkgroups, I was listening to the traffic as well

Submitted these this morning for DeSoto County
52207 Southaven Police Dispatch - Dispatch is currently transmitting in the clear but the mobiles are encrypted. Not sure if this is intentional as its been encrypted since they moved to MSWIN.
52218 Fairhaven VFD Fire Encrypted but verified by listening to the VHF Simulcast

RR shows a little e for the 52207 Southaven Police Dispatch and a big E for the 52218 Fairhaven VFD as of this weeks new listing

Just heard TG 42400 Bolton 1 calling Bolton 2 so listen and see if we can find out who this is. This is the best i can do on recording as i am having problems recording without the noise
Tg 42401 is Bolton PD..

42401 is Edwards PD
Radio Reference says that Bolton PD is 42000 which could be a typo since all the other small PD in Hinds County begin with 424xx.
well which is it? 42000 are 42400?
42400 I will try to get to it later am busy with new job an trying to recover from relapse of pneumonia from going to work too fast
