You can download the configuration from the radio and save it to a file... Is that what you mean?

Yes. arc500 calls it backup/restore. Can you save all folders in one file or do you have to save each folder to it's own file? Thank you

Each configuration is stored in it's own file. Making copies of those files as your own backup is easy to do...

PSRedit conventional screen edit problems?

Anyone else having problems with conv screen edit page? The page is truncated and I cannot see the bottom part where we make changed and apply the changed before exporting them to the scanner.....any help? latest ver aug 08

Are you using a non-standard DPI setting on your monitor? That would be the most likely cause of that. I'll look at that area of the code again so see if I can make some corrections on this.

I am using max dpi on my laptop. I see about 90 percent of the page except for all the options near the bottom of page where the apply and scanlist and other such options are located. Also there is no X or - the top right hand corner border so I cannot exit out of page. I have to do a contol alt delete to get out of the program. It all works okay until I press import frequencies from the main page. Then the conv edit page comes up but I just can't see the whole page....I just have recently registered so I do have the latest version of the program...Thanks.

Ok, for clarification, this is on the Import screen or the normal object editor?

Edit: Ok, I think I have this fixed for the next release.

I start out by importing from RR the conv frequencies that I wanted..and when I press import frequencies it goes into a conv edit screen to let me make any necessary changes before adding them to the conv list. This is the screen that I was having trouble viewing the bottom portion of the screen. It was waiting for a response for me to hit the "apply" button. I just couldn't see it. So the result was a locked up condition and the only way to get out was to reset the program by a ctrl-alt-delete.....Hope this helps....

Ok, that's a different screen than the ones I looked at, so I'll take a look at that one right now.

I just tried PSRedit v1.80 for first time and noticed that when trying to add a Service Search Object to scanlist 4, it will not work and reverts to scanlist 3. I cannot figure out how to add this type of object to scanlist 4.

You should be able to add the service search object to any scan list. The scan list numbers are at the bottom of the screen. I'll double check it to make sure it's doing what it's supposed to, and will fix it if it's not.

Edit: Yes, it appears to be a bug. I'll get this fixed and uploaded ASAP.

I jsut had the same problem, I run a larger screen size, but when i tried to enlarge the screen no go. And I went to a higher resolution and still nothing showed up to click and put that frequencies into the program, the edit screen is a far as I get.

What are you running as far as Pixels per Inch on your machine? It's designed for the default 96 pixel setting, but should be adjusting accordingly. If you're using another setting let me know, and I'll see if I can figure out why it's not doing what it's supposed to be doing.

I've redesigned the screen in question and will get a release out a little later on today. (Work issues at the moment won't give me enough time to put together a full release package until later on).
