Cleveland has an ancient digital system. So, unless you have one of their radios programmed up, no scanner feed. Cleveland.com runs streaming audio on their website.CFP said:Hey,

Actually placing a note or tape on the On/Off knob actually encourages "some" idiots to "touch" it or turn it off. It's the same everywhere!!!Volfirefighter said:Canton Fire & EMS should be up and running for good now; provided that people at work here leave the scanner alone. You would think that the amount of tape I put over the on/off switch would be a clue to some people but they turned it off anyway.
I'll send you the setup instructions if you send your e-mail address and a list of the agencies that you'll be scanning to me at gordon@scanmiamivalley.comeekdood said:I'm interested in hosting Stow, Hudson, Cuyahoga Falls area. Let me know what I need to do.

This was super-easy to set up, the only thing you need is a 1/8 inch speaker cable to run from your scanner to the pc sound card. No computer techie knowledge required.
I don't see a reason why we can't get a good portion of the state covered.
Thanks Gordon for the help!

I originally had a little bit of a hum when I added Gallia County. But, I'd plugged into the MIC IN jack on the computer when I started. I switched it to the LINE IN jack, tweaked the scanner volume and the Line In audio level on the PC and that took away ALL of the hum for me.jscott02 said:Thanks Steve! Took a bit if fiddling with the audio properties on the computer end of things, but all appears well now.
