OKC Santa Fe Dispatch in analog

Santa Fe dispatcher is transmitting in analog right now. Every other unit I'm hearing is in digital.

Yesterday, there was a "clicking" sound that was in analog as well.

I wonder what sort of problem is causing this...

Actually, I shouldn't assume the two events are connected. I wonder what caused both, and if they are connected...

That didn't last very long...new dispatcher, and she's in digitalm but there is a fair amount of white noise behind her

We're back to the male dispatcher and he's back in analog...I'm guessing a station has an issue...

I'm sure Dave is talking about analog (instead of digital) on the 800 MHz EDACS system. They have always been analog on the VHF links - but those could go away.

...or were you hearing Santa Fe (TGID 275 or 02-023) on 800 MHz in analog in October?

Yes, I meant the old analog system, I didn't make the point that it was the only frequency in the old system I was hearing. I usually hear all of them.
