Old Covina PD Dispatch Freq in Use

As of this writing, I am hearing Covina PD (or some other agency) on their old dispatch freq.[154.7250 167.9 PL] setting up what sounded like a containment. Comms were brief and the last transmission I heard was to "clear the air" while they set up.

EDIT: I have not heard anything further on this freq since I made my original post.

The dept. is probably using the channel for surveillance, or narcotics. When using the iCIS TRS anyone in the network could listen technically. I imagine they will use simplex on the VHF old radios to keep the communication local. Kinda how LASD does it.
