I keep looking at it, with ambition. Trying to figure out where to start.

What type of receiver/scanner are you trying to program? There are several members locally that
use the Radio Shack scanners or the Uniden 396/996 series.

I still have one of the 250D's. I've been drooling all over the Uniden 996.

The 250D will no track a true P25 system like the Douglas/OPPD system.

It will listen to P25 conv and P25 talkgroup on a Type II system.

That's what I was suspecting.
