FTAC-2 used to be TG 15. As of the last round of template changes, there is no longer any channel called FTAC-2 in the standard Onondaga County Fire template. TG 15 is now EWIDE. I have seen that is both Onondaga and Oswego Co radios. However, I have seen that some county Fire/EMS agencies have different templates. Nedrow and Onondaga nation are an example of that. They have TG 88 which they have referenced as "Channel 15" on the air before. Most other county Fire/EMS units have Zone A Channel 15 as a simplex UHF channel. So, it's quite possible FTAC-2 still resides on certain agencies radios.
For the most part, then a City and a County unit operate together they use FTAC-1 which the 911 Center simple refers to as "FTAC". FTAC-1 is still TG 14 in all the radios I have seen.
With that being said, FTAC-2 may still exist. There is still a lot of unidentified TG's on this network. Perhaps it was moved and not put in all radios except for agencies that border the city. Guess we'll all have to keep listening and find out. That's the fun of this hobby, isn't it?
