I was told by a member last night that Channel 1 / Operations was switched over to P25. I am monitoring it and will see if I can catch the NAC before I submit.

I just downloaded Orange from RR to my SDS200 as “Orange Digital” FL.
If nothing else comes up, Orange VFD does a tone test at 1800. 🤞
While I’m at it, I sure wish AMR had a frequency just for Orange.
Happy Holidays to all!

If you downloaded it from the DB into Sentinel, you'll have to wait and do it again. The Sentinel DB is 12/15/24 and doesn't have the update yet.

If I recall correctly and mind you, memory is not perfect with the passing of time and age, but I believe the OFD Chief made a post several years ago to the effect that civilians had no business monitoring FD communications. This was said in connection with the topic of OPD going 'E' full time. As such, I'm pleasantly surprised OFD did not go"E"also. But, then with the current Chief... who knows what the future may hold?

No plans of that at all for the FD.
