I am moving to Osceola County, I used the RR to program a scanner but don't hear any radio traffic can someone please advise what you are able to pick up which systems should be put into the radio.

Fire and Public Works is not though., if you used control channel programming only, then one of the control channels may be missing. I had to put all the channels to make sure it would work in my G4.

This is always good advice.

I always put in all frequencies for a system. The pedants scream bloody murder that you don't have to do it, but it has always served me well.

I'm currently in Osceola County with my SDS100. It is working great on all unenc traffic. I only program the CC and alternates.
