Hey Todd quick question, is the UID data only available with Phase 2 traffic? I'm not seeing the radio ID's in the Phase 1 TG logs.

Really appreciate the hard work and devotion you put into your product!

Thank you. Yes, only Phase 2 for now. I may take another stab at getting that working for Phase 1 this afternoon.

1) Download the DSD file from RR and save it to the "Documents/p25rx" folder on WIndows or ~/p25rx/ on Linux.
2) Rename the file to have a '.dsd' file extension.
3) From the Talk Group Editor tab in BTConfig press the "Import CSV" button and select the .dsd file you downloaded.
You should have a list of talk groups!
I just tried importing two systems (Windows 10) and it works great. You mentioned appending for multiple sytems. I used copy and paste from one file to the other to create a big file and it worked fine. Is this what you were saying to do? Doing them individually would overwrite the previous file.

You continue to improve things. I knew early on this was going to be a fun project. Thank you for the hard work.

Yes, that is what I meant by appending the files. I should add an option that pops up and asks you if you want to overwrite or append a file. Then you wouldn't have to mess with it at all. Thank you for testing that! I wasn't sure if it worked on Windows yet.

P25 P1 TG/UID logging working with conventional mode in version 2021-02-18_1820.

-edit: Bumped to 2021-02-18_1839. P25 P1 ends call if TG changes during the call in trunked mode.

Running _1949 looks and sounds great. Seeing UID data on a very busy metro ATL P1 system. Thanks for the updates as always!

Dave, thank you for asking about the P1 UID output! While I was getting that working, I realized that there were other related issues in the P1 decoder. I would recommend anyone who monitors a P1 system upgrade to version 2021-02-18_1949. You will notice a difference!

Some of us need to hear tones for various reasons. One is that one of these units will soon be installed in a fire station as a building-wide radio receiver for on-duty personnel to monitor activity. For them the "clearing tone" is an attention grabber and precedes each run announcement. Some may need those passed in order to setup an alerting system. Just saying.

Yeah - no I get it. Can we have an updated FW that excludes this, its ear piercing.

Is the volume too loud on the tones? distorted? I could add a "volume adjustment" for the tones. There is new firmware available 2021-02-19_0855 that has an option to disable the P2 tones in the advanced tab. This version will reset the configuration to defaults. Please test the option and verify that it works correctly when on and when off. Thanks!

Version 2021-02-19_1018 available. There is an adjustment for P2 tone volume on the advanced tab. I backed off to 0.25 (12 dB) of the previous volume. The default value might change as I hear back on a good value for that. The version will reset the configuration values to defaults.

So it does re-init... BUT that is the result, solid TG light (not shown on software), The only remedy I've found is to remove the USB from the front of the unit, then plug back in and re-start software.

Is the SIG led on when this happens? or just the TG led? When it does re-init, do the leds flash a few times before it goes solid on?

Weird Problem, while using Search DB for CC I find the channels in range and when I select test selected frequencies, on the 9th frequency no matter what it is the problem beeps, and just freezes up. Any ideas?
