I just noticed that, in the TG Log section, my Alias settings are not showing up, just the RID. But, they are showing in the Display View tab. Can you verify that? I am on 2021-11-08 1648. Thanks.

What options are enabled on the TG Log Editor "log trigger" section? That might help me to understand why it isn't working as desired.

Sorry, I don't understand what a TG Log Editor "log trigger" section is. I have not changed anything other than installing new BTConfig versions.

Yes, the latest version will default to enabling "V-Audio" as well. try that.

You are correct. I didn't have that enabled for the P25RX (it was for the P25RX-II). Version 11-08_2214 will override your settings for the first run by enabling the "voice audio" trigger. Those that don't want this option will need to disable it for the first time of running the latest software.

There are more changes to P2 code for both models available in the latest fw. I'm trying to get to the bottom of the issues that some are having with the latest changes asap. The more feedback the better. Email me directly if you prefer.

the P1 audio is good but P2 audio sounds like it's going through a verbal cheese grader - very choppy.

I have tried the last two releases of firmware (on 11-09 04:41 now) and have the same issue with choppy audio coming from the receiver (TDMA CC). The PC audio and recorded wave sound okay. Have changed Max V-Frame Repeats to a couple of different values and have not noticed any change.

Now I can reproduce it! I wasn't listening via the line-out. I don't know why I didn't try it. There is some P2 traffic today. I will be able to get this fixed today (as soon as possible). Thank you!

There is a fix for the recent issues with P2 audio available. The max-voice-frame repeats option should be less confusing now. It is disabled by default.

Had same issue. Need to add $RID_ALIAS$ keyword to Log File Output Format.

Thanks. I found that out last night after finding the keyword list and looking at the string in the Log File Output Format. Never knew that existed until my conversation with Todd. Nice having the flexibility to customize the TG panel.

Sorry about that, I didn't catch the the $RID_ALIAS$ wasn't in the default log string. I thought I copied the existing format carefully when I added the ability to customize the log, but looks like I missed one. I'm glad you figured it out anyway.

Hi. Saw a strange occurrence with 0702. Have two both did it at least once. Good signal. Signal Indicators showed green but talk block count stayed at 0. No indication in the console that audio was being received. Sds100 was receiving. Roaming over 4 systems on one. 1 system on the other. First time I saw it I power cycled it. Next time I rewrote the Config that solved it. Once running audio on P25p2 is great.

Before the new custom TGLOG tab options were created, the TG LOG screen showed (TG PRI) when a priority interrupt occurred. At some point, would it be possible to create a keyword for TG PRI? Maybe I am not seeing it?

There is a new version available that has many improvements from P25RX-II development. 2021-11-16_1901. You should notice an improvement in performance. Let me know if otherwise.

I took the latest firmware from today out for a test drive. It is absolutely horrible mobile. The testing of changes from today indicated that is should be a better release based on I/Q files submitted by customers. I am going to try and figure out what changes could be responsible for the decrease in performance and revert to yesterday if necessary. WIll update this thread when I figure it out.
