I have used the BackgroundMusic free app to control audio in the past. It worked great for me for multiple audio sources. I just sold my MAC so can not test with btconfig. It should work well.
I tried this. Individual application volume control is not available in the default/OS sound app shown in your post. When running multiple P25RX devices on the same machine, you run multiple instances of the BTConfig/BTCFG-II software. The sound level output from the individual applications is what needs to be controlled / mixed. The reason for pointing to the free software is because it is open-source (and free) and appears to have a nice interface for controlling the relative volumes for all running applications.I notice in the Mac App Store that there are a number of sound mixer apps that can help - I'd suggest one of the simpler ones, but I have no direct experience. I'm curious what shows up in the Sound | Input panel on your Mac - note that I have no offboard devices attached:
I haven't heard of that happening before, but I think I know what it is. Please try version 10-31_1523. This version will reset the window positions and size if the values are outside of reasonable limits. Also in this version, there is a new keyword $LCN$ that will show the current channel number for a voice channel. The $FREQ$ keyword always shows the current tuned frequency (voice or cc).I've been having a problem for a while now, in that i can start up the BTT software, however once the device connects, the window disappears almost like it is minimized. However when i go down the taskbar to put the window back on top, it never comes back up. If i close the software and restart it, it is fine until it connects with the device. I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Pro if that helps. It has done this for several software revisions, although unfortunately I am not sure when this began. I can tell it is still running because I can hear audio, however i cannot get the window to stay up when connected to the device.
Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately it didn't resolve the issue, however when i went into task manager and manually minimized and maximized, then hit bring to front, I was then able to access the software as usual. I tried this from the taskbar icon and it didn't work. I was suspecting that the problem was on my end, and this makes me further suspect this. Thank you for the fast reply, and I will further investigate this issue.I haven't heard of that happening before, but I think I know what it is. Please try version 10-31_1523. No, I'm sorry the two-tone sequence decoding is not something I've worked on yet. P25 P2 can specify tones with a programmable frequency and amplitude (vs voice synthesis). After support for this was added, some wanted to be able to enable/disable the tones and some just wanted to make them quieter relative to the voice volume. That is what those parameters are for.Todd,
Did the two tone / paging tone decoder get added to either receiver? If so, How do I enter the tone sets?
What does the "Enable Phase II Tone Output"and "P25 Phase II Tone Volume" do?
This version allows you to edit the format of the TG log display and output file using the new display view keywords. Two new keywords added: $DATE$ and $TIME$. By default the existing format is used because there are people who are parsing that format with other software. Here is the current format I'm using. You can cut-and-paste it into the format editor and save it.

Version 11-05_0330 should work. The vertical scroll bar is always set to max value when a new record is added, so text may not be visible until the text area gets completely filled. The new version also has import/export functions for the new TG Log format editor.Love the display view, that is really slick! Something strange happened though running ver. 21:32. The TG log screen does not scroll by itself anymore. Meaning after it has filled up with calls, they just keep rolling off the bottom and the only way to see them is to use the mouse wheel or the slider on the right of the screen. Same thing in display view split mode. Maybe this is operator error on my part, not sure.
I guess I misunderstood what this was. I thought it was to allow someone to make an edit to the info on the Search DB tab, which I've been hoping for. As it is now, if you enter any custom frequency that is not found in a search, or want to edit the information on grantee, city, or State, it does not hold through a restart, even when saved. I see now that is not what this is, but a custom display for the info at the bottom of the display screen. The ability to create a custom TG log file / display has been added to 11-03_2132. You can use the new display view keywords to define what you want in the log.
