I got permission to post some of this programming so more members could look at it and maybe we could figure out what is wrong with it.

This is Utah P500 programming from a non-Utahn.
The first thing I notice is the lack of hits.
I also notice he has a lot of car to car TG's.
He has Southern Utah UHP TG's when scanning SL Simul.

What's missing that should be here:
UHP SL Dispatch
SL REgional
Landing Zones 1 & 2
Unified Police, and many others in SL County.
Fire & EMS TG's.

I do not know how long he scanned SL SIMO and only got 21 hits.

I just hooked up the programming cable to upload this P500 to my scanner.
The first thing I see is this message:
One or more object IDs are duplicated (or are not valid) and must be fixed

When I load the program, It shows these scanlists active:
14, 16, 17, 19, 20. Scanlists 16 & 20 flash on and off simultaneously.
So, I turn off 14, 17, & 19. It now says Nothing Enabled! So 16 and 20 are on, but empty.
I turn on scanlist 9, SL Simul. I get steady calls, mostly on wildcard.

I would delete the group wildcard on SL Simo.
Also, Midvale PD was absorbed by Unified PD so 58144 (digital) is gone,
23040 is now exclusively Cottonwood Heights PD
21792 is no longer Midvale Ch 3.

I attached the last file that Brent sent me of his programming, not sure if it will help anyone out there. I'll leave it attached for a few days and then remove it. I guess some info is outdated.

Jon,

Is there a particular reason why we cannot submit to have those 3 talkgroups changed to reflect their current status in the DB?

To my surprise, my Trunker files show 2 of the old Midvale TGs have been active, 58144 as recently as 02/06/2012 and 21792 was last logged 02/17/2012. Although they no longer belong to Midvale, someone is using them. Maybe they have been reassigned. We need to figure out who the new users are before submitting new info.

Is it possible that:
a) Midvale is using the non digital TG for city related business or
b) UPD is using Midvale's old TG's both 58144 and 21792 for PD business now.

Anything is possible. I will have to pay attention more now for I was just about to remove them from my Win96 file.

Thanks for the heads up........................
