I am new-ish to radio equipment, SDR's and the lot.
I have been playing around with it for some time but I don't know a lot.
Is it possible to read the pages that show up in some trunked systems?
they say "SNDCP PAGE DATA REQUEST" and the event says page. Do these pages contain any text or data that could otherwise be useful or is it just a page with a callback request and a freq? They somtimes they are sent on a FDMA data channel. The trunked system is a Simulticast Motorola P25 Phase I-II.
I have the same question with data calls, can I read any information out of those or are they only decode-able with a programmed system (i'm imaging like a police computer.)?
here is one pulled straight out of the logs:
"2026:01:21:01:40:02","","APCO-25","Page","7651047"," (65535)","0-1169","858.312500","","SNDCP DATA PAGE REQUEST","349773466"
