Lately I've heard a lot of activity on EMS 2, including QC2 paging. Anybody know what's going on with EMS 1? Is it broken?

Also does anybody have a list of locations for all of the EMS stations in the county?

They are patched to each other. Ch1 - 154.430 is the main county channel. Ch 2 - 153.980 is lower profile on the Quincy Hill tower - mainly to cover the hospital but is often used and referred to as the "city" tower. What goes across one goes across the other. May just be happening to land on 2 when they are transmitting. As of this morning on my way to work it sounded like they were both working fine. I may submit a database update and clarify that on there.

Station 1 - New 911 center on Core Rd, used to be St Joe's station at 16th and St Mary's before they shut down.
Station 2 - Old bank on Pike St across from the old Taco Bell, in front of the new WVU Medicine medical complex.
Station 3 - Vienna - at the Vienna city building
Station 4 - Camden's main station at the hospital
Station 6 - Williamstown - behind Tomlinson Park, next to the football field.

Thanks!

You'd think I would have noticed that since I live pretty much right underneath the Quincy Hill tower, wouldn't you? But that does explain it. Right now I'm just using indoor antennas and the main dispatch channel is pretty scratchy and fades out a lot here.

Yeah, the "county" system doesn't really do a great job in the city. I usually lock it out when I am anywhere close to town.

Nope, no station 5. I can't remember the back story on it. I believe Station 7 was Wood County Rescue when they still existed and had an ambulance. Station 5 *may* have been Pond Creek VFD when they had an ambulance, but I am not sure which station they were. Both of those were WELL before my time lol.

I was a member of PCVFD back in the days of the ambulance I don't remember it every being called Station 5 - but maybe I just never picked up on it. Always Station 70 - 418.

That makes sense. Like I said that was all WELL before my time, and I have been out of direct public safety for almost 10 years now. Its one of those "the stories I was told are getting a little fuzzy on the details" lol. May have been a reserved station number or maybe one left over from the Lambert-Tatman days or something.
