Good catches. Most are in the Wiki and RRDB
170.3375 is ICE - part of a large area Network
169.9000 is CBP
410.8000 Federal Protective Service - The RadioReference Wiki
164.7000 is VA Hillsborough County, Florida (FL) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
418.3375 Analog ? what PL or DPL then as most agencies allocated that are DMR or P25
167.6875 is your local Tampa FBI Office - stand alone Rptr not one of their Wide area Rptrs

Awesome. I actually found all of these in the span of an hour with the exception of 418.3375 - yesterday must have been a busy day.

For 418.3375 it was DMR, my mistake. I believe it is the USPS, but I havent picked up any voice (possibly enc?).
There was another analog one which I seem to have left out, which was 156.7 CTCSS. Ill have to find the frequency

If you can go mobile for better reception, you might find 418.3375 might be the input [or not] to 409.3375
from 3501 Bessie Coleman Blvd Fl 3, Tampa, FL 33630

I was out of the house this morning and had the DMR channel on - there was what seemed like some sort of BP encryption or something. I could hear a muffled sound and slot 1 and 2 became active, but I couldnt hear anything besides that. Does USPS normally use encryption? Im 99% sure they werent data bursts, since those either make that DMR sound, or just show DMR at the bottom. This sounded somewhat like the hospitals that use BP with DMR.

I heard today on 121.500 what seemed to be a local EMA agency using DMR on the aircraft Emergency frequencies in Jessup,MD. Any idea what it might have been?

a. this is a Federal Frequency
b. double check your notes as 121.5000 is "AM" for Aircraft
and is not an FM allocation

actually I had a typo in my Reply.

This is NOT a Federal Freq, where this thread is for Federal

Likely you were near someone using DMR and it overloaded your radio
Altho 121.5000 should be AM and not auto or FM

I know it is that's why it was weird I listen to the frequency constantly. It confused me

Edit ; sorry wrong number: 410.000 - NAC: 8C0
Im thinking this is a fed prison, but I cant figure out which one. Its not coleman, and I cant possibly be getting FDC in miami from here.

$8C0 matches with FBoP from Coleman
if it is them, they changed from $402

Can you updated your profile to indicate your location, for others, it will help :)

Sorry, I meant to put 410.000. It seems 409.2125 and 410.7 are also part of the same system with NAC:8C0

Voice channels will not have the same NAC as the system ID. There is an article on the logic behind this.....somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Both of those are most certainly part of the Coleman system and you will see NAC 8C0 on the voice channels during decode.

hope that helps!

never copied DMR on the federal bands in Florida until today.

406.1125 Tier 3 single channel Base Station, CC 4 2 slot. Encrypted TGs 200, 300 and 400 in use.

Based on signal strength - I suspect this is in Miami or maybe Tampa or Orlando.... Perhaps a post office distribution center?

I have been getting enc DMR on 418.3375. I think it may be USPS as well.

That makes sense, thanks. I thought it was suspiciously similar.

Oh okay, I was confused since I saw 8CD on the DB - and sorry I keep meaning to put it - Im located in Tampa. I can just get enough signal for DSD to decode.
Coleman is 61 miles from me, so thats quite a catch with a little SDR Blog V3 kit dipole antenna.
