Ok.
The RID 2213002 is a Melville Unit and RID 2213018 is a Melville portable.
Again I think that RID 2211483 was most likely on a neighboring site to #153.
All RCMP detachments, including F-Division HQ have a motor pool and a radio pool.
Members will go into the 'office' and pick a portable and the keys to a unit.
Then, out in the unit, the member will call the DOCC and 'login'.
This consists of the member's Regimental Number, Unit ID, and Portable number.
The RID 2211483 is one of the radios in the F-Division motor pool without AVL GPS.
This unit appears to be a black Chevy Suburban, and is possibly up-armored.
We do not know who was utilizing this unit but it was most likely one of the "big dogs".
Specialized RCMP members of ERT, CIRT, PDS, FIDU, MCU/GIS and others may have a
"favorite" or "assigned" unit that has been up-fitted for a specific purpose for use by
only a single member and no others.
The RID 2211483 is usually on TG 50 when I see it traveling through my area. This unit is
seen every Friday evening traveling east bound on the #10 highway and then it will be seen
again on Monday mornings traveling west bound on the #10 highway back to Regina.
The DOCC in Regina can not see the location of this unit displayed on their maps.
This behavior seldom changes unless it falls on a holiday long weekend, so it may be seen
on a Thursday afternoon of Monday afternoon. There are some very pleasant, lakefront
properties located in the parkland region north of Yorkton where one may enjoy some
time away from the office. A significant other person may be monitored on TG 50?
Much of this is but speculation on my part.
Cheers
