anyone know where i can get / or have a copy of Firmware 1.08 for Pro 163? or can i just use the GRE 1.08 being its same radio

No! The GRE and Radio Shack scanners use different firmware.

TY for the 1.08 file files .. i have also found a 3 Page PDF although im not paying the 15 bucks they want to DL it so i SSed the important part (see pic) also a list of what i have found/ had already i know V1.09 had WX problems so i wont bother with that
