I have a Pro-197 that I have programmed with my local (Lake County, OH) trunked radio system and talkgroups, conventional freqs but when I load the Ohio MARCS I get no voice. It shows a good signal but no radio traffic for any Ohio State Patrol District 4 posts. I have programmed MARCS into Uniden scanners with no problem and even other model RadioShack scanners with no problem but now I'm stumped.

I've gone so far as taking it to Radio Shack and having it sent for repair only to get it back that it tested without any problems.

So far, I've imported the sites and talkgroups from RR that are closest to me and when that didn't work I've tweaked nearly every option I could find.

Anyone have any tips for this particular system they could recommend?

Thanks

During Import, Win500 requires user to select a scanlist for TSYS/TGRP. Click MARCS TSYS in Win500 then check TGRP section under Scan List Map. If no number is listed, highlight and check a list number on right side of dialog. You can use windows editing features (all or groups highlighted) to set multi or single list.

I did double check to make sure that all TGRPs were assigned to a scan list and even re-imported from RR assigning a previously unused Scan List. No such luck. I have it set to Station Mode since the scanner is mounted inside a building (without wheels).

I've also loaded every TGRP for OSP District 4 since at night dispatch changes Posts depending on the number of dispatchers available and still have absolutely no traffic. I've even added several towers around me and checked the option to scan all CCs in every pass.

This is getting frustrating. I appreciate your help!
