[Solved] - Pro 95 with Win95 Programming software trunking question

I have a question about using the Win95 programming software for the pro-95. I'm programming in a Motorola type II trunked system. On the window where you input all of your frequencies, to the right of that where you can assign alpha tags to your talk group ID's. Is there a way for it to program the scanner so you only search the talk groups that you programmed? As it is now, I programmed text ID's to the talk groups that I want to listen to, thinking that it would only scan the talk groups that I put in there, but it's still scanning all of them, displaying text id's for the ones that I assigned ID's to, and just displaying the talk group ID for he ones that I did not assign text id's to. Is there a way to program the talk group ID's with the text in the Win95 program to only scan the ID's that I assigned text ID's to? I know what a scan list is also, I’m just wondering if that can be done through the program. I'm having difficulty wording this question but I hope you all can understand what I’m asking. I hope I don’t have to put everything in there and lock out the ones I don’t want to use because the UCAN (Utah) system has a lot of TG’s.

Thanks,
Austin

I'm assuming that by "closing" the bank, you mean select that check box that says closed. I thought it just turned the whole bank off to scanning.

Nope... Mark is correct. To turn a bank off when scanning, simply press the number of that bank. Func 5 will change the bank from open to closed mode (for when you aren't able to use the software).

"Nevada's best rock music, from the 80's, 90's, and today. Rock 93.7, KLKO" I make the 53 mile ambulance drive from Wells to Elko alot and need something to listen to besides the siren.

They just opened up a new station, 94.5, plays some rock type music i think, i don't listen to it much. Check it out if you come through one day.

Nope, the Pro-95 (and 93) didn't come with that option.

A little off your original question, but you can also change from open/ closed by pressing function + 5.
