pro 97 feature

hello all, just got a pro-97 and am very pleased with it. i had our chief (fire) program it with his scanlite software. he programmed it to my specs - police trunking, fire / ems trunking, etc. i am new to scanning trunking systems ... anyone know how to "hold" on a specific talkgroup ... for example, last night i was listening to a tactical incident go down, but i don't know how to "hold" the police talkgroup/channel TAC-3. how do you do this with trunking on the pro 97?

Press and hold the (T) button, TRUNK on the top right on the keypad. Have fun with the PRO-97.

actually to lock on a talk group with a pro97 press "pse" I do this all the time.

Cool! Pressing and holding the "T" is a carryover from the Pro-95. I didn't know about the "pse" button.... Much easier to not have to hold the button down.

thanks. it worked great ... another question ... the talkgroup has to be active for this to happen, meaning i gotta be quick at watching the display until my talkgroup comes up ... how can i browse them and hold them this way?

If you have the talkgroup id programmed into a Id bank
press.. pgm ...trunk.T
.keep pressing the T untill you find the id bank that you know it is in
use the arrow keys to find your tg id
...when you find it press F & T to hold on that tg.
