I'm thinking about purchasing an HP STREAM 11 mainly just for radio programming. Is anyone currently using one of these and if so are you happy with it's performance?

I'm running Butel ARC XT-Pro software.

Not Avaiable for Wind 8.1

BUTEL will not work on Windows 8.1, it has to be an App, not software. If try to download from their website, you get error that says can not be installed, look for an App for the store. No App from Betel there. I emailed Butel and they confirm it will not run on Wind 8.1.

Thanks for saving me a wasted couple of hundred dollars. I'm wanting to upgrade an old VISTA laptop to something smaller. I guess I'll keep looking.

Programming on Win 8.1 tablet

The program does not have to be an app. I have regular software for two Hytera radios and a CS700 working on my Stream 8. I also have Chirp for some of my other radios successfully installed.

Update 2: Installed ARC500, let Win 8.1 install driver on COM 5 (you may get a different COM port). Using Virtual Scanner after downloading all banks from scanner.

ARC500 works just fine on my Winbook tablet, running Windows 8.1

Also Win500, PSREdit, Sentinel, FreeScan, ProScan, ID Tracker III, etc. etc.

Tablet running Win 8.1

I'm looking at two tablets at Best Buy, one is a Digiland DL801W, the other is a Trio Pro7.
Both are running Windows 8.1 with 16GB memory. Will Win500 and Freescan load and
run on these tablets? And what is the work around for the mini usb port?

Thanks!

Greg
