Yes, I agree. I would like to have at least something like the lockout review feature that the Pro-96 has, you press the Func + L/OUT buttons repeatedly to cycle through each locked item. Right now, it's not too bad to scroll quickly through the TGRP objects and find what's locked out *permanently*. The radio does have a nice list of lockouts you can review for conventional objects locked out during searches or sweeps. So I wonder if something like that can be done for TSYS/TGRP objects.

It would also be nice to have a feature to clear all lockouts at once, but I'm guessing you're referring to *permanent* lockouts right? The temporary lockouts it's working great for me. I rarely lockout anything permanently and just cycle the power to restore everything.

Why not just use the Find feature for permanently locked out objects?

Sweeper already has temporary (press L/O on an active frequency) or permanent (Func + L/O). You can change it to permanent lockout from the keypad by changing it in the Global menu.

Dave,

Are you sure about that? I thought that while in Sweeper mode, you have to lockout hits with the F1 (FrL/O) key. Otherwise, if you simply press the L/OUT button, in Sweeper mode, it doesn't do anything OR if you're using Sweeper in Scan mode, it'll lockout the whole object instead of just the active hit.

Dave,

LOL, excuse my "density" at this moment, but how can I use the Find feature for that? Maybe I'll figure it out in a bit, but if anything for the benefit of everybody else! ;)

Here's a suggestion:

It seems that the SEL center button on the 5-way pad is not used for anything while scanning. Why not make it a second Pause button? It seems there's times it's harder to get to the regular Pause button and you have to pickup the radio to do it. If the SEL button was a Pause button, it'll be much quicker and easier in certain situations. I like that once you're paused, you can resume scanning by pressing on the up/down arrows. So there is some functionality in there already to accommodate that.

Not that it matters much, but the center button turns the LED off. Comes in handy if you don't want it to light, for whatever reason.

I would like the ability to designate channels as P25-only - if you're not giving me good P25 audio, keep scanning.

You can do this now, set the frequency to P25 and leave the NAC code in search mode (or set the NAC is you know it).
