I have everything programmed in my BCT15 as none exept ham radio frequencies. I put them in there with the startup code of 1.

When I turn the radio off from having that code activated, then turn it back on it still scans the ham radio channels. Is there a way to turn them off without having to put a dummy frequency in for startup code 2 to lock out 1?

If you press any start up key other than 1 when powering up, your ham frequencies will be locked out. You don't have to have a system with that SUK (ooh...should have given that acronym more thought) assigned in order to use it.
