Greetings. I was just in Radford and noticed that Radford law was now on an NXDN system but fire/EMS listed as still being on NFM. However when listening to EMS on NFM (I don't have NXDN on the SDS 100) I heard the same digital "hash" which I heard on the police frequency in NFM. Is it possible that EMS has gone NXDN as well?? I never heard a fire call so I can't speak for that. Thanks. If only police have gone NXDN I may not upgrade but if they all have I may bite the bullet. Again thanks in advance.

Radford PD and Radford U PD are NexEdge and encrypted.

Thanks. I guess the database needs updating for the Fire/EMS. The database shows analog for PD too which it is clearly not. I imagine that it shows the same way for Fire/EMS One being analog but not used and the new NXDN which is. Thanks. Hey Randy....SDS100 for simulcast distortion. Really is a better platform for that. Can hear Va. Beach from Portsmouth with 8oo RS duckie no problem. sdabby...most everything there is now affiliated with Carilion so I imagine so but not 100%. I don't mind updating the DB as I know for a fact that analog police and Fire (At least what I heard as programed from the DB) are deprecated. Thanks again.
