I am listening to an NXDN system right now and I am seeing these already-named UIDs show up even though I don't have any IDs programmed. Why is this happening?

Because the UID aliases on certain NXDN systems are carried over the data stream and don't rely on programmed data like alpha tags do

I know that works on DSDPlus, so your saying that it works on the BCD325P2/BCD996P2 scanners also?

I can only speak for the x36HPs and SDSx00s and yes they show up. If OP is seeing them on the P2s then I'd assume so

Hmm, gonna have to have to check my 436 programming. I receive uid's on NXDN but do not recall ever seeing over the air aliases coming up.
