I live in Whitestone Queens so does that make my area for EMS Queens East or Queens West?

477.91250 KQ7615 RM 85.4 PL Queens West
483.61250 WQHX483 R 85.4 PL Queens East

Also the future freqs in the database
482.51875 97.4 PL QNS WEST FM EMS Dispatch
483.03125 94.8 PL QNS EAST FM EMS Dispatch

Are currently being used are they simulcast of the old ones as of right now?

Thanks
Mike

I believe Whitestone is Queens East. However, since jobs are given to the "closest appropriate resource", you may get Queens West units dispatched. Monitor both, so you get everything. The old frequencies are currently being simulcast with the new ones. We are scheduled to move in PSAC next week. No word on how long we will be simulcasting, but since the new frequencies are up and running, you can use just the new ones and save some scanner space.
