Regarding 436 microSD card

For those of you who have the 436 or if you know, does all the info (database/firmware) does all the information you download from Sentinel get written to the card first and then uploaded to the scanner. Reason why I'm asking is if I have another card that I use as backup and keep that card updated and switch out cards in case of problems, thx in advanced for any info and your time.

Yes. Sentinel loads the data onto the card while the scanner is turned off and the card is acting as a mass storage device. When you turn the scanner on, it reads the data from the card.
