I am using SDR# with DSD+ interface. After the update to DSD+ fastlane. Iam getting the following error:
Required file 'lame_enc.dll' not found in current working folder
But "lame_enc.dll" is in the DSD+ folder

I am new in using DSD+ Fastlane

DSD+ interface was working before this update
I updated DSD+ 1.101 to 2.303

DSD+ plugin is checking in C:\DSDPlus folder but cant find lame_enc.dll , but this file is in C:\DSDPlus folder.
Shall I copy lame_enc.dll in the C:\SDR# folder instead?
Or shall I copy all DSD+ files in that SDR# folder?

No, the plugin is running DSD+ in the SDR# folder. DSD+ is checking for the lame_enc.dll file, but DSD+ is not running in the DSD+ folder.

Probably won't help. I'd expect DSD+ to be looking for other files as well.

Or shall I copy all DSD+ files in that SDR# folder?
You can do that. Then the SDR# folder is your DSD+ folder. Then your original DSD+ folder is... just a backup folder?

Personally, if I was using SDR#, I wouldn't use the plugin.

You can download the Newest Base Files
Go to Msic than go the last list and it will have the files to download.Screen Shot 05-28-21 at 09.15 PM.JPG

If I dont use the plugin with SDR#, how can I start DSD+ while using SDR#.
Thanks for your answer.

You start DSD+ by double-clicking on the DSDPlus.exe file in the DSD+ folder.

You direct the output of SDR# to DSD+ by telling SDR# to use a virtual audio cable for its audio output and you tell DSD+ to use the same cable as its input.

The only way to start DSDPlus Fastlane seem to be by running 1R.bat and then FMP24-CC.bat
When I start DSDPlus only, in the 1R DSD+ windows I receive :
Initiating FMPx link using link ID 20001...
FMPx link error = -5
[Server is not listening on selected link ID]
and I dont see the audio windows

Why can't you start it by double-clicking on the DSDPlus.exe file in Windows Explorer?

Did you read the instructions in Notes.txt?

Using DSD+ with external signal sources

DSD+ can be used with external signal sources such as a properly discriminator-tapped receiver
or SDR software such as SDR#. To use DSD+ with these sources, use the menus in DSD+ to
select Passive Digital Monitor mode and then to select the audio input device that carries
the digital audio signal. When running in this mode, DSD+ can be used to monitor conventional
analog and supported digital signals; DSD+ will not directly support trunk tracking.

Thank's very much for your help. I got it working but it does not seem to work on every stations. Also could you tell me how I can listen to analog stations without rerouting my audio to direct sound speaker instead of Direct Sound vb audio Virtual cable?

In the 1R event log if I select i/p "Use direct FMPx Linking", I get the following error in the DSD+ windows
Initiating FMPx link using link ID 20001...
FMPx link error = -5
[Server is not listening on selected link ID]
I have to select "Cable Output (VB-Audio Virtual) in order to decode. But it does not always decode. If I switch to an analog station after, I have to increase the audio in sdr# and also select "Filter audio"
Is this normal?
Sorry to bother you with all those questions but I am a newbie.

I would like to listen to Police conversation (dmx), airport, ambulances and amateur radio. SDR# let me tune to all these frequencies easily.
Do you know any other software more compatibles?
