I hate bumping old threads.

But my friend has a Pro95 that has the same problem.
Except it 0.2125MhZ off.

We are trying to get it fixed, but it's a lot more difficult then we thought/it looks.

So...thanks for the Posts/thread.

Wow! Discovered recently the same problem in mine, but only off .015! Very strange, but re-configuring all my VHF freqs up by that amount they all come in loud and clear now. Just display the new "adjusted" freq number on the display instead of the actual freq! Solving that by entering Alpha tags so I can just ignore the numbers.

However, that doesn't work for the trunking function on 800mhz. Tried entering trunking frequencies off by .015 and the scanner is auto correcting them. Can't make the scanner accept the alternative frequencies, so this solution only works for VHF. Perhaps when I get bolder I'll try getting someone to open the radio and try an internal adjustment.

Thanks for the info! For now, I have salvaged the VHF use of my ancient, but beloved Radio Shack scanner!

I had to open my dads up, turn a pot to get it back on freq then pit a little glue on it to hold it.
