My router will not do port forwarding. I have a t-mobile router using windows 10 on a lenova pc. Any recommendation to set up a reverse proxy? T-Mobile routers won't do port forwarding. I am using proscan.org. It is all set up and I can see the name of the scanner is the client directory, but it comes up with a code 1. Any recommendation on a website that I can use? Will this reverse proxy mess with anyone of my family using the router on their pc? We have 10 items on our router. Thank you for your help. Sorry to be a pain. Thomas

How Do I Port Forward on T-Mobile Home Internet and Bypass CGNAT?
Port forwarding on T-Mobile Home Internet can be challenging due to CGNAT. Fortunately, there are methods to avoid these limitations and enable certain services like game servers or secure remote connections.

Get a VPN with Port Forwarding Support

A VPN with port forwarding can help circumvent CGNAT by routing your traffic through a server with a dedicated IP address. This allows you to manage port forwarding settings through the VPN, facilitating the access needed for certain applications.

Use an OEM router

Installing an OEM router that supports port forwarding can provide more control over your network settings. This allows you to manage ports directly, although it may still require additional configurations to fully bypass CGNAT limitations.

Try LocalTunnel

LocalTunnel is a tool that can expose your local server to the internet via a public URL. This service is useful for bypassing CGNAT as it does not require traditional port forwarding settings.

Your question is specifically about setting up a reverse proxy, which is not a service specific to scanners and can be used as a front-end to a variety of web services in general. You need to think of who you want your audience to be, and others agreed since we were referred to your post by their reports. There is currently a referral link in the General Scanning forum so you did not lose the visibility there.
