I have 55201 as North Dispatch, hearing 1000,2000, 3000 and 4000 series call signs , guessing Zones 1-4 cars.

55203 as North TAC

55206 South Dispatch, hearing 5000, 6000, 7000, and 8000 series call signs, guessing Zones 5-8 cars.

55208 as South TAC

55218 as ARC Traffic, mostly T-units here.

I'm still feeling stupid over this. When I try to download the P25 talkgroups I still don't see any of these frequencies listed under Augusta Richmond County. Will Radio Reference eventually add these?

They patch channels together at night and if I remember correctly Traffic & Spec Ops gets patched at night. I heard numerous S units & T units on what came up as 55218 last night.

I'm currently hearing GSP units, T units, and traffic accidents going out on 55237 this morning and I've seen nothing on 55218.

Hurricane Relief

In case anyone is interested TG 55239 is the TG for Hurricane evacuees coming into Augusta going to ARC and Westside. Same set of 800's as RCSD.

The 800 meg frequencies are the tower frequencies. Numbers starting at 55 like 55201, 55243 , are Talkgroups ( TG's ) . That's what we are all working on now ; a complete list of Talk groups for Richmond County on the Augusta 800 meg frequencies. Then we will post all of them.

Program in all the Augusta 800 meg frequencies , making sure that they are P25 and that your scanner does P25 ( check your manual ) , then see if your scanner can scan those frequencies as a Wildcard. That means anything that is on those 800 meg P25 frequencies will show up as starting with 55 ( as in 5501, 5502, etc ) . These are Talkgroups in Richmond county. Hope this helps. Let us know what you find and hear.

On the Traffic, and Records see if you can tell if it North or South. Events I believe has 3 channels and Special units not sure. The business patrol channel ( patrol mainly downtown area) also has a TAC and record channel.

The Database is no where near correct on one page and then very incomplete on another.

I do know that 55223 is Event 1, 55206 is RCSO South Dispatch,

I am still trying to identify what some of the others are.

Spec Ops should have a dedicated Dispatch Channel. I think they have a dedicated TAC channel but I couldn't ever find it before the switch so I may be wrong.

TG 55239 also seems to be an Event TG for Richmond. May be Event 4 . They are able to go from 55239 to Dispatch on the sheriffs department. Thanks for the new updates. Good job.

Hi kg4wbb,
So once they are posted will RR update their download list? In my ARC500 interface when I go to Trunked systems for Richmond County I select P25. Once the Site and Talkgroup lists come up I expand the Augusta/Richmond county talkgroups just to see what's listed. I get 55201,55202,55206,55207,55238 and then up from there. So none of the frequencies listed on the thread show up. I'm still pretty new at this, so do I need to try to program them manually? I am using a Whistler 1065.
Thanks to everyone or their help.

They aren't listed because they haven't been added to the database yet.

Everything in this thread is just a discussion of us trying to figure out what different talkgroup are.

As people identify what they are, they post to the database and it will show up in the ARC download list.

You can program anything manually, setup a wildcard (all talkgroups in the system will come through your scanner), or wait for the rest to be identified and then download them.

Info Please on SC Interoperability Talkgroups

[Could one of you fellows direct me to how I can get more info on SC Interoperability. Is this just on the coast line and what 800 meg group does it dispatch from. I would like to monitor this. Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by SC Interoperability. The Mutal-Aid and LE Common channels are used for various different things.

I'd ask this in the SC Discussion forum though. You won't reach as many people in the Georgia forum.
