I have the RTL-SDR V4 and Airspy SDR# Studio v1.0.0.1920 RTL-SDR USB with Unitrunker 2.1.0.108. I have a few questions. I have tested a FM radio station frequency and was able to read the FM station.

How do I setup Unitrunker to read trunk radio data channel from the RTL-SDR? I see no way to add a radio in Unitrunker.

In Airspy, I entered a frequency of 854.7825, but in the program looks like 000.854.782.5, which I find strange.

Thank you.

I have only used unitrunker with audio, so I think you need to pipe in the audio from SDR# with VBcable or VAC, virtual audio cable. I gave up on that, and now use SDRTrunk.

As far as the frq, can you see the control data on the waterfall? Of course the leading zeros are placeholders for GHz. There is activity up there, too. My v3 is good up to 1.7~ GHz, and U have a Pluto that us good up to 5.999999 GHz.

This is based on Unitrunker 2.2.0.13 first picture is how many data channels (signal), So if one system then 1 signal enter freq for data channel second picture (VFO1) . Third picture is for voice I have mine set up for one voice channel . Unitrunker at this time does not do voice for P25phase2. I jump on here a few times a day so if you have any more questions let me know. There is also a Google group and on here as well if that may help as well

It's been a while since I've used Unitrunker (used the paid version) but as I recall, you need to enter the control channel into the drop down menu of the RTLSDR. I've since switched to SDRTrunk as I've found it easier to set up and took less configuration to get it to work with my local P25 public service system.

If your using Unitrunker, you don't use Airspy Studio with it. You use just Unitrunker.

I see no way to add a radio in Unitrunker.

Is your dongle showing up in the Radios tab?

The v4 requires a different dll. I don't remember how to install it. I would ask over on the unitrunker Google group.

There is not nor has there ever been any paid version of Unitrunker. You must be thinking of some other software, certainly not Unitrunker.

As I said on your other thread in greater detail, if you are using the RTL-SDR.COM Blog V4, your Device Manager should say Blog V4.
